How To Use

18” U-Clip
1. Section your dry and tangle-free hair. Using your fingers or a rattail comb, create a 'U', horseshoe-shaped section from ear to ear around the crown of your head. Clip this top portion of your hair in a bun away from your face. Put your bottom section into a small tight bun or 2 small braids (pinned to the scalp in an X).
2. Brush and clip. Before applying, gently brush your U-Clip from tip to root. We recommend using a wide tooth comb. Place the U-Clip (also known as a clip in half wig) around the horseshoe section (Make sure that the U is centered). Secure all the clips around the top of the horseshoe. Finally, secure the clips on the bottom of the cap. This should take less than 20 seconds!
3. Part and brush - Undo the top half bun. Make a middle parting and gently brush your hair down. You can also tease the hair before you lay it over the U-Clip to give it a little more volume. And that’s it! You’re ready to go!
4. Pro Tip: If you’re using the pre-styled U-Clip you can curl or style the top section of your own hair to blend with the extensions during the final step. Keep in mind that the U-Clip is heat resistant up to 320 degrees, but once hot tools are used you will not be able to snap it back to the original texture.

1. Put your hair in a tight & secure ponytail, bun, or ponytail braid (with a ponytail holder at the base & end of the braid). Use a sturdy hair tie (do not use fabric scrunchies).
2. Insert the comb of the ponytail extension under your natural ponytail's elastic tie, scooping upwards, to secure it into position.
3. Secure the velcro of the ponytail extension's hair tail tightly around your ponytail's base. Next, wrap the hair tail, making sure the hair covers the velcro.
4. Secure the ends of the hair tail in place with the bobby pins included. We provide two with every ponytail, but feel free to use as many as you need.

How do I apply & blend INH Hair ponytail extensions?

Whether you’re a newbie or an experienced rider, our ponies are super easy to use & apply in seconds!

Step 1: Brush your hair and secure into a ponytail or bun

Step 2: Insert the comb at the base of your ponytail or bun (scoop it upward between your scalp and the hair tie)

Step 3: Wrap the velcro around the base of your ponytail and secure as tightly as possible

Step 4: Wrap the tail around the base of the ponytail, concealing the velcro. Secure ends with bobby pins

Are INH Hair ponytail and U-Clip extensions heat resistant?

Yes, our ponytails are heat resistant up to 320 degrees F. Keep in mind that our ponytails are pre-styled, and heat styling them will remove their original textures. Use the Safety Kit to extend the life of your hair and protect from heat damage.

Some of our styles can be transformed simply by softening the style with a brush or comb. They are also perfect for braiding, accessorizing, and layering with our products like our clip-in Hi-Lites for example!

Our Curly U-Clip is heat resistant up to 320 degrees but she’s made with perfectly pre-styled curls that aren't suitable to be completely re-styled (will not revert back to her original loose barrel curls once heat styled).

How do I apply my INH Hair U-Clip Extensions?

Whether you’re a newbie or an experienced hair affciendao, our extensions are super easy to use & apply in seconds! Extensions may seem intimidating, but they’re actually very easy to apply:

Our U-Clip is 1 full hair piece with 8 clips.

Step 1: Section your hair in a horseshoe U-shape around the crown of your head

Step 2: Place the U-Clip around the horseshoe section, secure the clips from the top down

Step 3: Release the top section of your hair, gently brush & style as desired

Can I dye my INH Hair ponytail extensions?

Unfortunately, since they are made of pre-colored vegan fibers, you cannot dye the fibers with hair color. We offer a variety of colors for you to choose from and multiple free ways to be expertly color matched.
