How to put in a ponytail extension

Whether you’re a newbie or an experienced rider, our ponies are super easy to use & apply in seconds!

Step 1: Brush your hair & secure it into a ponytail or bun.

Step 2: Insert the comb at the base of your ponytail or bun (scoop it upward between your scalp & the hair tie).

Step 3: Wrap the velcro around the base of your ponytail & secure as tightly as possible.

Step 4: Wrap the tail around the base of the ponytail, concealing the velcro. Secure the ends with bobby pins.

You can check out our helpful video tutorial here. If you're concerned about the blend, you can curl your hair to match the texture, or put it in a bun & apply the ponytail over top for the most natural look.

What are the ways to wear ponytail hair extensions?

This is our favorite way to rock a ponytail! She’s super sophisticated & perfect for any occasion.

We love our classic shades that are color-matched to a T, but it’s always fun to rock another shade or add Hi-Lites, Bangs, or Fairy Floss to your pony look.

Braids for Days
A fun way to switch up your INH ponytail is to braid it! We recommend a fishtail or Dutch braid, but don’t limit yourself. Your ponytail can do it all. The options are endless!

Are INH Hair ponytail extensions heat resistant?

Yes, our ponytails are heat resistant up to 320º F. Keep in mind that our ponytails are pre-styled, & heat styling them will permanently remove their original style. Note that heat styling may compromise the condition of the hair just like it would your real hair. Use the Flame Fighter Heat Protectant Spray & Super Shine Serum to extend the life of your hair & protect it from heat damage.

Some of our styles can be transformed simply by softening them with a brush or comb. They're also perfect for braiding, accessorizing, & layering with our products like our clip-in Hi-Lites for example!

Can I wash my INH Hair ponytail extensions?

Of course! All of our products are washable.

For our INFINI-FLEX™ products, we recommend using a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo. Remember to only wash when needed & let her air dry! To revive the style between washes, just spray with water, gently shake, & let air-dry.
