How to apply a clip in bun

Step 1: Start with dry, tangle-free hair. Using your fingers & a brush, gather it into a top knot (baby bun), then secure with elastic. Use Quick Slick, Sleek Stick, or No Fly Zone Hair Pomade to smooth back any unwanted stray hairs or flyaways.

Step 2: Expand your clip in bun by pressing the drawstring buckle & pulling outward.

Step 3: Apply the clip in hair bun over your natural bun, securing the inner combs under the hair tie. 

Step 4: Tighten the drawstring to lock it in place.

Step 5: Tuck the drawstring ends inside the bun, wrapping & securing with bobby pins or another elastic.

How to apply clip in bangs

Our human hair clip in bangs are super quick & easy to apply!

Step 1: Style her: They may be slightly flattened in the package during transit, so you might have to ruffle them up a bit or heat style her to look more natural. Try fluffing lightly with a brush or using your fingers.

Pro Tip: You may trim the bangs to your desired length. We recommend taking them to your stylist to do so!

Step 2: Create a middle part: This is a crucial part of the application process because we need to make sure your hair is evenly distributed & sitting flat against your head.

Step 3: Open clips & line them up: Make sure to open all three clips & then line the bangs up to where you want them to fall along your brow bone. Keep the back clip aligned with your part, then secure the two side clips. Lastly, secure the back clip, & you’re done!

Can I use hot tools on my clip in bun?

Every INH Hair bun extension is heat resistant up to 320ºF, but is already pre-styled & isn't suitable to be completely re-styled into a new hair texture, as it will not revert back to the original shape if styled with a hot tool.

Can I heat style, color, bleach, or tone my clip in bangs?

Our 100% Remy human hair products can be heated up to 320ºF, so you can style as you would your own hair!

These Remy human hair extensions can also be dyed by a professional, but we suggest avoiding at-home coloration, avoiding harsh chemicals, or re-dying multiple times.

Just like your hair, coloring can damage these real hair clip in bangs, so we recommend going for a semi-permanent color depositing conditioner instead!

Can I dye my clip in buns?

Unfortunately, you cannot dye INFINI-FLEX vegan hair. Luckily, we do offer our buns in various shades to help accommodate your color needs; perhaps you want a shade to blend your roots & a new and different shade to blend your ends to see what looks best!
