Bobby pins have ridges and closed tips and are used to keep the hair in place, laying close to the scalp. Ridges should be facing down (toward the scalp).
Pro Tip: Spray the bobby pin with hairspray prior to placing it in the hair. This helps the pin to stay in place and hold the hair even more securely.
These pins are very sturdy and work perfectly with my collection of ponytails. I hope to see some sold out shades in several styles restocked soon. It makes me nervous that you guys are discontinuing Dove so soon.
These are by far my favorite bobby pins. They're nice and thick and keep my hair secure all day. I never need to readjust them.
Thick, sturdy, and they don’t twist like my old Bobby pins do. I wish they cost a little less but the quality really is unparalleled.
