HOW TO APPLY:
New to extensions? These hair extensions clip in with ease:
Step 1: Start with dry, tangle-free hair. Section crown of hair in a top knot.
Step 2: Starting from the bottom moving up, part the first section near the nape of your neck, leaving about 1 to 2” of your hair down. Clip to 6” weft.
Step 3: Repeat, using the 8” in the midsection ear to ear & 10” weft near the crown temple to temple. Clip the smaller wefts 4” & 3” on the sides to finish the blend.
Step 4: Release your top knot, gently brush hair over the weft & fall in love with your new inches!
Matching the style of your extensions:
- Use INSERT BLOWOUT HERE blowout brush or INSERT XL CURLS HERE oval wand before applying Blowout XTRA INCHES
- INSERT WAVES HERE deep wave iron before applying Beach Waves XTRA INCHES
HEAT STYLING:
XTRA INCHES is heat resistant up to 320 degrees, but they aren't suitable to be completely re-styled into a new style (will not revert back to the original waves or blowout).
With proper care, the style "flexes" back to its original form (as if brand new out of the bag!) even after years of wearing, washing, or brushing. Just spritz with water or Revival spray, comb with a wide tooth comb, and shake/snap the piece back to it’s style.
Note: If you straighten or curl up to 160°C / 320°F, our INFINI-FLEX™ technology will remember that new style (meaning you can not go back to that original texture).
XTRA INCHES AFTERCARE:
If properly cared for, your XTRA INCHES hair extensions will last for years of styling. Here are some tips and tricks on how to care for your XTRA INCHES hair extensions:

Comb gently before and after each wear with the Dream Detangler Wide Tooth Comb and our extensions preserving Emergency Revival Spray -- Lay the hair flat on a table and gently comb starting at the ends, moving up in small sections towards the base of your wefts.

Wash your INSERT NAME HERE hair pieces occasionally or if they’re dirty. We don’t recommend washing your hair pieces frequently. Just wash them when you absolutely need to. Hint: you can freshen them up (remove oil & improve scent) by using an alcohol-free dry shampoo.
- Store using the super cute reusable satin pouch that comes with every purchase! It helps prevent tangles and extends the life of your hair.
For hair pieces with curls or waves: we recommend using a wide tooth comb or separating curls with your fingers
WASHING
To start, comb and detangle your XTRA INCHES with the Dream Detangler Wide Tooth Comb and Emergency Revival Spray hair detangling & protecting spray if she's extra tangled.
- Hold the base area with one hand and soak her under cool running water.
- Use a mild or synthetic wig shampoo and lather her with your other hand using circular motions with your fingers throughout the hair until clean. DO NOT RUB or lather into a ball!
- Rinse the shampoo and apply a good amount of some moisturizing conditioner or hair mask. For best results, leave the conditioner or hair mask on for about 5 to 10 minutes. (You can also leave it on overnight!)
- Rinse the hair under cool running water until silky smooth. Lightly detangle any knots with fingers.
- Squeeze excess water, then lay on a dry towel and let it air dry. Do not blow dry!
WARNING: Do NOT blow dry your XTRA INCHES! Doing so may result in damage to your locks (and we hate damaged hair). Air dry your hair for best results.
Can you dye your XTRA INCHES clip in hair extensions?
Since they are made of pre-colored vegan fibers, you cannot dye the fibers with hair color. We offer a variety of colors for you to choose from. But if you don't see your color, feel free to reach out to our development team! We love hearing from our INH Babes.
