Insert Sleek Hair 101: HOW-TO’S, TIPS & TRICKS

Why all the buzz about Insert Sleek Hair Here? Not only is it a hybrid of a straightener and hairbrush, but it will give you smooth straight hair in a couple minutes! Save the hair drama for another day because this 2-in-1 hot tool makes styling faster, easier, and less damaging!

Want the smoothest hair of your life in no time flat? Don’t worry, babes, we have an easy step-by-step guide on how to use the Insert Sleek Hair hot tool so you can have red carpet hair any day of the week you want!

Before you start prepping your hair, make sure to have ready-to-go dry hair (no wet hair allowed for this one, babe), and yes, you can use it on your hair extensions too!

The second but most important step when using any hot tool is a heat protectant spray. We always recommend using a heat protectant spray to prevent damage to your hair or your extensions! Flame Fighter adds an extra barrier between the heat and your hair strands and fights off unnecessary frizz you don't want while nourishing it with quality ingredients you do want.

After applying your heat protectant, if you have any products you regularly use like styling mousse, add those and let them dry for a minute.

Before we jump into styling, the last thing you will do is section your hair. Leave your innermost hair sections down and wrap the rest of your hair into a bun or a claw clip. This ensures you get every section of your hair. But if you're in a rush, you can go ahead and leave all your hair down, or section your hair into bigger parts.

Styling could not be any easier with the Insert Sleek Here. This 2-in-1 straightener brush has ionic technology that achieves all the smooth and straight hair goals in one step. This babe also heats up to 450 degrees, but don’t worry about heat damage because it also has ceramic padded bristols to protect your hair while still heating quickly!

After the hot brush heats up to your desired temp, grab the brush, with the bristols facing in, and run it through one of the sections you have ready to go. Make sure to run the brush to your ends. The best way to think about using the hot brush is using it as your regular hairbrush.

What if I have bangs and don’t want them to look flat?

If you have bangs, you can section them off and straighten them last, so they have a super silky look and don’t get in the way while styling the rest of your hair.

But if you want a little more volume, take a blow dryer or a blowout brush and place your bangs in front of your face. Then take your round or blowout brush and place it at the ends of your bangs. Finally, roll the brush up towards your roots and hold it there for about thirty seconds, and release by pulling the brush straight up.

-To help make the hair looks super silky all day, add in a shine serum that has anti-frizz and tangle properties (see pictures below for before & after results).

-Make sure to apply the hot brush to each section (top and bottom) of your hair

-For a sleeker look, work on smaller sections of hair at a time

-Remember the brush is only for use on dry hair

-Unplug the brush and allow it to cool down before cleaning it

-Wipe the surface of the hot tool with a damp cloth, and avoid using harsh cleaning agents on it

-Store the brush in a dry and safe place

-See manual for other safety advice

Even though hot tools give outstanding results, they do have their limits. If any malfunctions occur, do not attempt to repair it (don’t worry, we’ve got you covered under warranty for one year!).
